Financial Support for Micro-enterprises
Consultative guide
Micro-enterprises based in the WEST Region can benefit from grants of up to €200,000 under the Western Regional Programme 2021-2027. The objective of the call for projects is to increase the competitiveness and productivity of micro-enterprises in the West Region.

Competitive, deadline submission.
Budget
The financial allocation of the call is €20 million.
Non-refundable financial assistance
Minimum grant: €30.000
Maximum grant: €60.000 euro

- For applicants whose income from the relevant NACE code is less than 30% of the turnover or who have no income from the relevant NACE code in the year preceding the submission of the grant application

Maximum grant: 200.000 euro

- For applicants whose income from the relevant NACE code is equal to or higher than 30% of the turnover registered in the year preceding the submission of the grant application

The grant requested through the project may not exceed four times the value of the turnover in the financial year preceding the submission of the application.
Eligible beneficiaries
Several minimum conditions:

- Micro-enterprises or cooperative societies
- The applicant’s registered office is located in the West Region and the location of the project implementation is in the urban area of the West Region or in the certified tourist resorts of the West Region
- The applicant has recorded income from activities carried out under the eligible CAEN code for which it is applying for funding
- The applicant does not fall into the category of enterprises in difficulty in the fiscal year preceding the submission of the application for funding, i.e. 2022
- The applicant has recorded an operating profit in the fiscal year preceding the submission of the grant application, i.e. 2022
Investments located in rural areas are NOT eligible, with the exception of investments in certified tourist resorts in the West Region.
Financed investments

- Investment in production premises of industrial construction type
- Investments in headquarters and administrative buildings are NOT financed
- Endowment with tangible assets (technological equipment, machinery, working facilities, furniture, IT equipment, office equipment, specific installations/equipment for the purpose of achieving energy savings and systems using renewable energy sources) and intangible assets (management processes, production processes, software, use of IT and intellectual property: patents, licences, trademarks)
- Activities to expand sales markets, range of products and services offered, and participation in major internationalization channels and platforms
- Circular economy activities or activities to develop new eligible green supply chains
- Investment in production premises of industrial construction type
The project shall include a sustainable development component, i.e. it shall propose the purchase of specific energy saving installations/equipment or systems using renewable energy sources to make the activities for which it has applied for funding more efficient, e.g. charging stations, heat pumps, mini wind turbines, air compressors, photovoltaic panels and/or systems, solar panels, waste sorting/recycling stations, etc., for a minimum of 5% of the total eligible value of the project.
Recommendation for applicants:
It is recommended that the project proposes green purchases for a minimum of 30% of the investment in equipment and fittings, and that a minimum of 20% of the construction materials used in the construction works are Eco Label certified.
