Main objective

Supporting the development of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises operating in the South-Muntenia region

Type of call

Competitive, continuous submission with closing date

Allocated budget

144,000,000.00 euro of which:

      • ERDF: €122,400,000
      • State Budget: €21,600,000

Non-refundable financial assistance

Minimum value – €300.000
Maximum amount – €3.000.000

The amount of the grant will be determined on the basis of the applicant’s income, related to the NACE class for which they are applying, in the financial year preceding the submission of the grant application

Percentage of funding

State aid – maximum 70%

Eligible beneficiaries

    • Non-agricultural SMEs or non-agricultural cooperative societies in the South-Muntenia region, in rural and urban areas (including their related villages) applying for funding for investments within the eligible fields of activity (NACE classes)

Minimum eligibility conditions

    • The applicant must have its registered headquarters in the South-Muntenia region, at least from January 1st 2022
    • The applicant has been active in the South-Muntenia region for a period corresponding to at least one full fiscal year prior to the submission of the grant application, at least since January 1st 2022
    • Operating profit in the fiscal year prior to the submission of the grant application, namely 2022
    • The firm is not in difficulty in 2022

Type of investment:

    • Construction/extension of production/service premises
    • Equipment, machinery, furniture, specific equipment, investments in renewable energy
    • Investment in intangible assets (maximum 10% of the eligible value of the tangible assets covered by the project)
    • Specific circular economy activities (e.g., reuse of raw materials, materials and products, waste recovery, etc.)
    • Specific internationally oriented activities (e.g., access to international market entry services/Single Market to identify business opportunities, participation in international fairs and exhibitions, investments in adapting technological production processes to certification and standardization systems specific to export markets, etc.)
    • Activities specific to the certification and approval of products and services, with a view to technological upgrading, which will lead to the improvement of technical, industrial and organizational capacities for the development of products and services
    • Digitalization activities for micro and small enterprises as related activities part of an integrated project.
